Blueridge Reno

This project was completed for a long-time childhood friend who basically said “Here’s my budget, the property will be up for sale in 6 weeks, call me when you’re done.”  With that said, we went ahead and decided to do a complete gut of the kitchen and bathroom. We also removed all the carpet on the second floor and replaced it with all new laminate floors.  New oak handrails with new carpet on the stair treads were added to spruce up the staircase. We kept it clean and modest and brought some much-needed life into a once dull 3-bedroom, 1.5 bath home while keeping within the budget. We are pleased to say the house was SOLD and both the seller & buyer were pleased.

Meadowglade Kitchen Reno

Kitchens are always fun to put together and this one wasn’t any different.  Our client wasn’t sure about much of the finishes but was adamant that they wanted dark wood cabinets.  The challenge with this particular project was that the existing tiles would remain, which weren’t the easiest colour to work with.  So, the client and I worked together and decided to contrast the dark cabinets with a lighter tone quartz countertop.  We used the backsplash and paint colour to tie the space together.  We also ended up changing out all the light fixtures on the entire main floor and… Voila!
